oregon harvest-time activities ...

J picked all of these chantrelles and more one day after work -- yum!

we took a trip up to Hood River with Pop Pop and Grandma Song. We didn't get any apples or pears, instead, we visited a chestnut tree farm

we found a fun swing on the farm
whee!

We also visited an alpaca farm, a lot of fun!

baby alpacas

Eli got to feed some of the alpacas, which was very silly. He kept saying "it tickles!"

we also visited the Bonneville fish hatchery, where we saw baby salmon (fingerlings) some big ones, and also, above, is the famous "Herman the Sturgeon"
