Elijah, Gerber Baby

Eli has been practicing tummy time this week and has successfully rolled onto his side a number of times. He's getting really good at holding his head up on his own, and he's been talking to us quite a bit! Tomorrow night we're going to carve that pumkin he's lounging against and this week we'll be enjoying the fall weather. Phoebe is shedding like crazy, we could make a whole new dog from her discarded fur ... love to everyone, ~V

107 days old = mellow week :)

We didn't do too much this week, J and I both caught another bug (I guess this will happen a lot from daycare) and we tried to lay low. J went pheasant hunting in eastern oregon on saturday, and Eli and I went to Saturday market with my friends Doyle and Katya, their Aunt Ginny, and their son Nikolai. Doyle, an old college friend of mine, and his family recently moved here from Alaska and we're glad they're here! The weather was very nice this weekend which is good because it's supposed to be rainy all week.

Elijah's 100 day party

Elijah had his 100 day party yesterday. Song and Dave came from New York ~ Song cooked an amazing variety of Korean food, we had some food from New Seasons, and a cold stone creamery cake. Best of all, lots of our friends came to say hi! We had a grand time and want to thank everyone who came for making our day very special. As you'll see, Elijah was wearing a traditional outfit. Did he enjoy the party? He certainly observed a lot before he fell asleep ... :)
